Today's Appointment

Hey everyone!
So we had our monthly appointment today. Always nice to go and find out that everything is going well. I will be 15 weeks this weekend.

A few key notes from today:
1) The baby's heartbeat was 150 bpm. It was pretty funny because as soon as the dr. would find it the baby would move! She said it was pretty active, I just can't feel it yet.
2) I have officially gained 1 pound since I have been pregnant. I guess that's not too bad for 15 weeks! As my energy is slowly returning and I am getting sick less, I am going to start walking. I just need to ease into it and not tire out too quickly.
3) My heartburn is getting worse and the dr. said it probably will continue to get worse. I am going to try some natural techniques to help, but they will probably put me on a prescription by the next appointment.
4) I get to switch back to Zyrtec, so hopefully my allergies will start to get much better! We are also going to get a humidifier, but the doctor said that I will probably remain congested for a good part of the winter. Yipee.
5) We scheduled the big sonogram! On December 30th we will hopefully be able to find out what we are having. I still don't feel like I care about the gender, I just want a healthy baby.
6) The bloodwork I was going to have done today was moved to my next appointment with the doctor, December 31, the day after the sonogram.

That is pretty much it. Everything is good and healthy and I just need to get through the Christmas season healthy and somewhat rested. Keep praying for the morning sickness to go away. I got sick twice today and had really thought it was gone!
